While reading through all the recent articles and some provocative (also very destructive?) comments published in this SAM, my childhood's favorite song was automatically on 'now playing' mode reminding me to "BE CAREFUL WITH WHAT YOU SAY FOR THE FATHER ABOVE IS WATCHING YOU".
It's undeniable that globally the climate is getting hotter and warmer nowadays and maybe that's one of the reasons (MAYBE) why people tend to be easily stirred up and helpless to control their temperature from rising above the normal level when speaking about something contradicting with what they have in mind. But still I think as a humble created human being, we have to learn to guard our words because they can be an agent for either for better or for worse. Some words are better left unsaid than to be sorry for speaking negatively. If I were to be asked what was my contribution to the community/country, my answer is simple...I want to help myself and my beloved Marudu-ians to learn to speak positively which specifically means to speak more of things, agendas and issues that will motivate people to live positively towards positive development of intellect, emotion and spiritual. This small contribution (if it is considered so) may look NOTHING GREAT at all but it's okay to me so long as it's NOTHING AGAINST any moral guidelines known in the world. In a wider scope, learning to speak positively also means to be brave to tell the truth including to uncover any existence of conspiracy to decrease the quality of development that should be there. In addition, speaking positively is also to be bold enough to voice out the cries for a better life of our very own people so that our leaders/government will get to know about them and hopefully won't be forever neglecting us behind in terms of development. With these aspirations in mind, it's not hard to recognize that these are exactly the things that we, SAMs have been doing so far and will continue to do the same voluntarily as long as we have the capacity to do so. Last but not least, we all have the same nature and tendency of loving to say negatively about others and that's why we have to be reminded again and again to learn to speak positively and humbly because Someone who's GREATER than us is there evaluating every spoken word that come out from our mouths/minds.
