As I See It: Thumb Up & "Toliban kow..."

I've just made a short round of the stretch behind our house (using an electric-powered bicycle) - of the road heading towards Tandek town passing through few other villages such as Salimandut, Nolotan, Botition etc. Haven't been home for quiet sometime I was a little appalled to see the new improvement being done upon the stretch - of which...as long as I could remember ever since I was a kid and the last visit back here; the condition of the road has never been bothered by the concerned parties - some did but it turned to be "lips service". This is among the basic facilities and infrastructure that are much needed by the "rakyat" - Anyway...Thumb up and well done to whomever have put in the efforts to upgrade the road. Keep up the good work and integrity...And serve our "Rakyat" - We won't lose anything if we serve them honestly with accountability - they will remember us... On my short way back I came across with few "beliau-beliau" / elderly...And the greeted me, "Toliban kow..." A remark that I've missed so much that I never ever have heard being spoken anywhere (based on my personal experience...)And they are the people of which would remind us (particularly leaders... and aspirants)of our responsibilities... P/S I came across with "someone" of whom I actually know very well; and who is actually at the moment holding a significant key position within the reigning party here in our place - Well..sometime if we have already "up" there, we tend to be a little bit of signaling the "power distance"...he..he...I'm not blaming him...begitu la adat & attitude manusia kalau sudah "di atas sana"...But don't forget..Serve the "rakyat" kio...

Sumimbar oku poh dika Amat (panggilan dulu-dulu ni), siomboh ot ongoion nuh? hi..hi..hi.. begitulah kita kadang-kadang menyahut sapaan "toliban kou" dulu-dulu di kg walaupun ikut jalan karabau ja. Setelah sekarang pada kelajuan 40 kmj, susah sudah orang mau cakap itu ungkapan, cukup dengan bunyi hon kereta ja.

TQ Pinsan Carl ko punya post.

Tuan, betul cakap si Anonymous tu, dia bergurau ja.
